It's About Time is a concept for a multichannel video installation that uses live video to create a visualization of the passing of time. A video camera captures the live image of a subject, periodically producing a snapshot at regular intervals. These snapshots are then fed into the multichannel visualization, producing a "live timeline" of sorts, enabling the viewer to see stretches of time at once. Imagined to be at once both a clock and a record of an environment, I picture It's About Time situated in places where people tend to wait... subway stations, airport lobbies, etc.
